NAZAR MetLab-V
Inverted metal microscope for metallography – inspection of large workpieces
The inverted NAZAR MetLab-V microscopes are particularly suitable for the material science examination of large test pieces that cannot be examined with an upright microscope (due to insufficient workspace height). It is equipped with a powerful 50 W halogen bright field contrast illumination and a large, mechanical XY table as well as polarization and color filters and can therefore be used for a wide range of applications. Due to the inverted design, the test piece can be "unlimited" in size and is simply placed "upside down" on the cross table. In other words, you are looking at the sole of the test piece's foot from below.
It is characterized by its high mechanical precision and easy handling. The microscopes of the NAZAR MetLab series are specially designed for microscopy of metals and materials in laboratories for the Metallography in industry, universities, colleges, vocational schools or in research. Thanks to high-resolution lenses and first-class equipment, they can be used in a variety of ways for routine tasks, structural analyses and measurements.

Stereo macro microscope MetLab-M
With click-stop zoom
The NAZAR MetLab-M stereo zoom microscopes enable professional examination of your samples. The stereo viewing eyepiece produces excellent three-dimensional images for microscopy at the highest level. The high-end zoom stereo microscopes are ideal for all types of examinations and can also be calibrated thanks to the locking zoom (click-stop function) and can therefore be used for measuring tasks.
The zoom stereo macro microscopes can be assembled modularly:
- Tripods with rack and pinion height drive / with column tripod / universal tripod / table clamp tripod / horizontal tripod
- Binocular (operation only possible without camera) / Trinocular with C-mount camera connection
- with standard LED lighting or gooseneck LED lighting
- additional attachment lenses and objectives for magnifications from 3,3x – 220x
Eyepieces: The MetLab-M comes with a pair of HWF 10x/23 mm eyepieces.
heads: Binocular head (without camera connection) or trinocular head (with camera connection) with 45° inclined tube. Both eyepieces can be adjusted by ± 5 diopters to suit individual visual impairment for use without glasses. The eye distance can be adjusted between 54 and 75 mm. The binocular tube is supplied with a beam splitter with a fixed beam path (50:50). The MetLab-M models are now equipped with a click stop (zoom locking position enables software calibration at a defined magnification position).
Objective: The MetLab-M macro microscope is equipped as standard with a plan achromatic objective 1:8,4 with a magnification of 0,65x to 5,5x. This standard equipment enables a field of view (in the eyepiece) of 4,2 to 35 mm (camera smaller). The long working distance in this case is 110 mm.
Possible attachment lenses: The available auxiliary lenses (0,3x | 0,4x | 0,5x | 0,75x | 1,5x | 2,0x) allow you to adjust the standard magnifications and fields of view to your needs. Please use the table below to assess suitability and select your equipment. All lenses have an anti-fungal coating.
