SERVOCUT cutting machine supports you optimally – for example, because a cutting force limit can prevent the sample from burning during automated cutting. In addition, an automated cutting machine can be used to use new cutting processes (pulse cutting, oscillation cutting, step cutting, diagonal cutting) to cut extremely hard materials (carbide / PM steels) and critical special materials and alloys (titanium, etc.).
The key feature of the SERVOCUT cutting machine is the travel cut: The cutting disc is not lowered onto the workpiece (cross cut), but the workpiece fixed on a travel table is moved onto the sample (travel cut). The fact that the workpiece can be moved under the cutting disc means that even long travel distances (long workpieces) can be cut. An automated SERVOCUT cutting machine offers the advantage that time-consuming cutting tasks can be automated. These cutting machines can even handle complex cutting tasks with just a few programming steps and by using combined cutting modes.
Cutting machine SERVOCUT 302-AA – programmable travel cut & cross cut
At the cutting machines 302AA It is the smallest cutting machine with SERVOCUT Series. Depending on the type, this machine can be operated with 3 motorized axes and automatically (programmed). This robust and inexpensive cutting machine is able to make cuts up to Ø 110 mm using the cross-cut method. Longer cuts can also be made using the travel cut method. Both the Y-axis and the Z-axis can be used automatically individually / in combination using the integrated SIEMENS control system.
