Precision grinding machines + polishing machines ACCURA

The ACCURA grinding/polishing machine achieves a previously unknown level of quality in sample quality and operation. The ACCURA is THE high-performance preparation system with an extremely stable machine body with two guide columns. The general special feature of this type is the normal:

• the stiffness of the frame
• the variability of the motor-driven sample mover in X and Z directions
• the high level of usability and programming comfort
• the complete grinding wheel consumption due to X-axis movement during the grinding process

One of the outstanding features of this new type of grinding and polishing machine is the motorized positioning of the grinding head in the X-axis (transverse adjustment) and Z-axis (height adjustment) - especially during the preparation sequence. The sample mover / grinding head is able to apply individual pressure or central pressure to embedded samples. The rotation speed of the sample mover can be continuously adjusted between 50 - 150 rpm and is equipped with a powerful 100 W DC motor. The device is ideally equipped for target preparation thanks to a measuring system in the Z-axis. The preparation device is suitable for the use of grinding wheels with a diameter of 250 / 300 mm. Up to 25 preparation programs can be stored in the integrated SIEMENS control system. A 5,7" touchscreen monitor is available for entering the parameters. The base unit is equipped with a 1,5 HP electric drive. This can be continuously adjusted from 50 - 600 revolutions. The machine is equipped with a low-noise belt drive, the grinding wheel can be rotated both clockwise and counterclockwise. An acoustic signal sounds at the end of each grinding sequence. The machine is fully equipped with 4 pneumatic feed systems with peristaltic pumps for suspensions: 3 for diamond suspensions / lubricants and 1 for aluminum suspension. Other features include soft start and soft stop function, extendable cleaning hose, cooling water supply and water drain. The machine is delivered ready for use including an aluminum grinding wheel Ø 250 mm and splash guard ring (but without sample holder as it is customer-specific depending on the Ø of the embedded samples)
