The machine was designed as a manual cutting machine for metallographic cross-cutting - wet cutting of large and small, regular or irregularly shaped workpieces made of metal, ceramic or material composites. The manual cutting process is carried out by moving the hand lever on the right-hand side forwards / down to lower the cutting wheel onto the sample piece, which is fixed on the T-slot table.
One of the strengths of the wet cutting machine is its ease of use: no programming must be made is this manual wet cutting machine often more efficient to operate than a programmable wet cutting machine. The METACUT 302 is the cheapest available on the market Quality wet cutting machine for abrasive cutting. The cutting process is carried out entirely manually by operating the hand lever on the right-hand side. The METACUT 302 type is able to cut solid materials with a diameter of up to 90 / 110 mm (round) or 65 x 130 (square). To enable the cutting of extremely long workpieces, a side through opening was created on the left-hand side of the machine.
The machines are equipped with a powerful motor that drives the abrasive cutting disc safely through the workpiece. The base of the machine consists of a large die-cast aluminum housing. The clamping table made of stainless steel is equipped with T-slots that enable a variety of different clamping options. The optional quick-clamping devices can be removed to allow the installation of conventional clamping tools and thus also the clamping of large or irregular workpieces.
After only a few cutting attempts, the user is able to carry out perfect cutting cuts with this easy-to-use wet cutting machine in order to create the best conditions for the following grinding and polishing work can be carried out efficiently.
