Are you a technician and would like to work independently, travel in Baden-Württemberg and neighboring regions, and develop further in a specialized technical field?
SCHÜTZ+LICHT Prüftechnik has specialized in materials testing machines and their calibration for many years. We calibrate more than 3.000 materials testing machines annually. To further expand our calibration service, we are looking for a Calibration Technician (m/f/d) for the Stuttgart/Ulm area.
Their focus is clearly on calibration at the customer's site. After appropriate training, they can resolve minor technical issues directly on-site. For customer support, they can rely on colleagues in Langenfeld/Rhineland or the manufacturers GALDABINI and INNOVATEST.
What you will do with us
- Calibration of material testing machines at our customers' sites using modern calibration software
- Testing and documentation of measurement accuracy
- Minor repairs, adjustments and simple troubleshooting
- direct coordination with our customers
- Independent organization of your planned client appointments
- They are working on, among other things,
– Universal / tensile testing machines
– Hardness testing equipment
– Pendulum striking mechanisms.
What we're looking for
They are technicians by conviction 💡 and enjoy working independently.
Ideally, training as:
⚡ Electronics technician / Electrical engineer
🛠️⚡Mechatronics Technician
or a comparable technical qualification
It's less important to us that you already have experience in materials testing. We'll teach you that.
More important are:

No experience in materials testing?
No problem, you will receive intensive training and gradually build up specialist knowledge in calibration and materials testing.
Experienced colleagues are available to assist you with any technical questions.
