The universal hardness testing machine NEXUS 7700 can be used for all standard hardness tests according to Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell, Super-Rockwell and Knoop. In addition, ball pressure hardness tests on Plastic and cupping measurement methods HVT and HBT are possible. This hardness tester covers all hardness tests according to DIN, ISO, ASTM and JIS with a test load range from 0,5 kgf (4,9 N) to 250 kgf (2,45 kN). Current technology: The test loads are applied via a load cell and corresponding control electronics with force feedback. The device is operated using the high-quality IMPRESSIONS testing software. All functions of the device are controlled using this user interface. The evaluation of the optical testing methods Vickers and Brinell is carried out using the included automatic software image analysis. This ensures fast and accurate evaluation with no operator influence.
